Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m a photographer, artist, and full-time human disaster with a camera.
This site is where I unload what my brain can’t seem to say with words. I shoot moments that feel heavy, weird, or painfully honest. Sometimes it’s beautiful. Sometimes it’s unsettling. Sometimes it’s a dead leaf in the middle of a parking lot that just felt like me that day.
I don’t do forced smiles or over-edited perfection. I don’t want my work to look like stock photos. I want it to look like you woke up at 2 AM and remembered something you forgot to feel.
So what do I shoot?
- The quiet and the chaotic
- The gritty and the poetic
- The stuff we’re not supposed to talk about
My photography style leans emotional, candid, and sometimes a little sarcastic. If I had to sum it up, it’s like: “what if sadness had good lighting?”
More than a camera
I’m also a mom, an artist, a tech nerd, and someone who knows her way around a table saw. (Yes, really.) My days bounce between building stuff with wood, breaking stuff on a keyboard, and capturing the raw stuff in between with my lens.
Work with me?
If you want portraits that feel real, art that tells the truth, or images that capture the emotion you can’t quite put your finger on, you’re in the right place.
Check out my photos. Stay a while.
Or don’t. I’ll probably shoot more either way.
